Anzoátegui took third place in the national table tennis tournament

The Anzoátegui delegation ranked third in the overall table of the U11 and U13 National Table Tennis Championships that took place over the weekend in the city of Valencia, Carabobo state.

Mary Gómez, president of the Table Tennis Association in the state of Anzoátegui, highlighted the performance of the athletes, as well as that of the coaches who belong to the organization.

He specified that in the U11 category the delegation won a silver medal in the men’s team. He added that they were champions in the men’s doubles category with the duo they formed between Gabriel Quijada and Rider Ramírez, while Quijada himself was national champion.

In the U13, the Anzoatiguense representation took third place in the men’s and women’s teams, as well as in the men’s doubles (Gabriel Quijada – Rodrigo Farías) and women’s doubles (Ángela Carrasquel – Verónica Martínez). Martínez also took the last place on the podium

It is worth noting that the Anzoátegui table tennis team is getting ready to face its participation in the Oriente 2024 National and Paranational Games.
