38 percent of people who reported a safe home, make a new report of domestic violence or child abuse. This is evident from a Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) poll on Monday.

In the first half of 2022, Safe Home received 59,985 reports of domestic violence and child abuse. Of these, 38 percent made a so-called new notification.

This concerns people who have been known to Safe at Home for the past three years. So these people had previously been abused and received help for it, but Safe Home was no longer involved with them.
