In the film, two astronomers, played by Jennifer Lawrence and Leonardo DiCaprio, announce a comet that will hit the Earth. The astronomers are hardly taken seriously, which makes the situation seem hopeless.
When panic does set in, DiCaprio’s character appears in a public announcement from the government. In that announcement, he advises anyone with questions or looking for peace of mind to call a specific phone number.
