Anya Hindmarch, 56, founded her eponymous brand in the UK in 1987, selling her own handmade clothing and accessories. It settled in Hong Kong in 1993 when it opened its first branch outside the UK. Currently, Anya Hindmarch has a total of about 15 branches in Hong Kong and Japan, including three in Hong Kong, located in the Landmark Plaza in Central and Lee Gardens Shopping Center in Causeway Bay, as well as a small pop-up store in K11 MUSEA in Tsim Sha Tsui.

Awarded the Order of the British Empire

The brand pursues a sustainable development policy and often uses environmentally friendly materials in its styles. His famous works include the “I’m Not a Plastic Bag” shopping bag produced in 2007, which raised public awareness of the environmental harm caused by disposable plastic bags. The brand has been established for more than 30 years and has attracted the support of many celebrities, including members of the British royal family such as Princess Kate and Prince William, Victoria Beckham and Hollywood actress Anne Hathaway. Anya was awarded the Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 2017 in recognition of her contribution to the industry.
