«Echallenging, competitive, stressful” but also “inspiring, innovative and collaborative”: the qualifications students use to describe the world of work show very mixed feelings about the company, and sometimes very far from the truth to come. This is one of the decisions of the unique study conducted by Apec (Association for the recruitment of executives) with more than 600 students at the level of bac + 3 or higher.

A “smart and competitive” world of work.
For 88% of respondents, the world of work is first “especially critical”. Seven out of ten describe him as authoritarian and methodical. They fear a culture of heavy performance in a “competitive working world” (85%), even “ruthless” for 57% of them. These negative representations cross all sectors (universities, business schools, etc.). Another fear for 37% of them: that of being poorly paid for their first job.
