Anushka’s comment comes in response to her half-brother, Anthony Dillon, accusing her of seeking to return their father to Switzerland for financial reasons.
Anthony Dillon told C News on Friday, January 5, “All these stories about money and inheritance are untrue,” the day after an interview with Paris Match magazine in which he accused Anushka of manipulating his father, whose health condition has deteriorated since he suffered a serious stroke in July. July 2019.
In response, Alain Delon, one of the last giants of French cinema, 88 years old, announced that he wanted to sue his son for statements that he said were aimed at “harming” him and his daughter, Anushka, who also announced a lawsuit for defamation, threats and harassment.
The French star commented in statements reported by his lawyer, “But which father can bear this matter?” The lawyer pointed out that Alain Delon “cannot bear the hostility of his son Anthony, who does not stop calling him old,” and he also made “even more shocking” statements, “in which he claimed that he had spent the last Christmas” of his life at the end of last year.
Lawyer Ayella explained that Alain Delon “also told me that unlike Anushka, his son Anthony never (…) really cared for him, and even today, he only sees him rarely.”
He continued, saying, “He once again exploited his name for promotional purposes by publishing a book against him. He even added, ‘Leave me and my daughter alone.'”
The lawyer added, “He asked me to file a complaint, at the first stage, on charges of defaming reputation. He also asked to study the necessary measures to stop the threats against him and his daughter.”
“The inheritance issue has been settled,” Delon’s son said, adding, “My sister has 50% of all my father’s wealth. My brother (Alain Fabien) and I have what we call the reserve share, so we have 25%.”
He added, “My brother and I want my father’s wishes to be respected” by leaving him at his home in Duchy Montcorpon in central France, accusing his sister of wanting to “return” the French star to Switzerland, where he resides administratively. He has been a Swiss citizen since 1999.
He continued that Anushka’s “worry” is “that my father will be redefined as French, a French citizen,” which will lead to a “huge tax” after death.
However, Anushka said, “He is being followed up in Switzerland due to his illness, and is receiving treatment there.” She added, “The only reason I wanted to take him to Switzerland was to get treatment.”
She confirmed that he was scheduled to undergo a medical examination in August, “but my brother was strongly opposed to that.”
She added that Alain Delon “is receiving treatment that is vital to him, and against the advice of doctors, he decided to stop this treatment. I did not agree to this, and I could not do anything about it, and it is inappropriate to say that this is for tax reasons.”
