Belgian champion is eight points behind the leader
FC Porto’s opponent in the Champions League lost this Saturday 3-2 to Charleroi, in the 11th round of the Belgian championship.
Playing away from home, the Belgian champion lost 1-0 and 2-1 and recovered from both disadvantages. The 1-0 was scored by Stulic in the 50th minute, with Ekkelenkamp equalizing for Antwerp in the 56th minute. A penalty converted by Marco Ilaimaharita resulted in 2-1 in the 65th minute and in the 77th minute Ilenikhena equalized the match with two goals.
Charleroi managed to win the three points through a second penalty by Ilaimaharita, in the 88th minute.
With this result, Antwerp remains in place, eight points behind leader Union Saint-Gilloise.
