Singer Will Ferdi died on November 8, he was 95 years old. His career spanned seven decades. It wasn’t until 2014 that she stopped performing. Famous songs by her include ‘Christine’, ‘Seede tu me re’ and ‘De Dying’. In the 70s he was the first BV to express himself as a homosexual. He has thus become an icon for the LGBTQIA + community. Will Ferdy’s funeral will take place on Saturday at 11 in the parish church of Sint-Anna-ten-Driezen on Antwerp’s Linkeroever. Many people came to the church, including well-known residents of Antwerp. Showbiz Bart and Antwerp Councilor for Culture Nabilla Ait Daoud, among others, came to say hello to Ferdy.

There is still a funeral register at the Town Hall, 9am to 6pm daily. At Hoboken County Hall, it is open every weekday from 9am to 4pm.
