“We first received a reservation for Thursday evening for nine people, under an unknown name,” says Davy Schellemans, Veranda’s chef. “That reservation was then changed to a Friday lunch for five people, but we didn’t know who was coming. Dua Lipa came in quite normally, just like another guest, and I hadn’t even recognized her. It was my kitchen staff that pointed out to me, they were immediately very enthusiastic.”
