The province of Antwerp will start local contact research in consultation with the health inspectorates. This will be done with volunteers who closely monitor infections, together with the GPs. “First in the city of Antwerp, then it can also be done wherever it is needed,” says Governor Cathy Berx. The aim, of course, is to curb the increasing number of infections. For example, the virus is haunting various families in Borgerhout and Hoboken.
