Antwerp GP testifies about living with autism in ‘Taboo’: “Fixed structures in my daily life are very important” (Berchem)

She was one of the guests at Philippe Geubels in Taboo. Doctor Valerie Verhulst (32) from Berchem told what it is like to live with autism. Her diagnosis was only made fairly recently. “The cliché has it that people with autism like to be on their own. But like everyone else, I also want people around me,” she says.
