Antwerp city council decides on Let’s Go Urban subsidies in April: “Hard decision if facts are confirmed”

Open VLD chairman Egbert Lachaert does not yet want to comment on the content of the report of the provisional administrator. He now wants to await the court’s verdict, he said in “To the matter” yesterday evening. “We really await the judgment. If there is clarity, we will give the appropriate consequences,” says Lachaert.

In any case, the report seems to show anything but a pretty picture of entrepreneurship. “And if it is done with subsidies and public money, then that is even more sensitive for a liberal”, agrees Lachaert. Sihame El Kaouakibi is currently temporarily suspended as a member of Open VLD and therefore no longer participates in meetings of the party.
