Antony Varghese Pepe shares the experience of seeing Tamil actor Suriya for the first time. Pepe said that when he saw Suriya he went and introduced himself and was happy to hear him talking about the climax of Angamaly Diaries. Pepe was speaking in an interview with Sillymonks Mollywood. Pepe was responding to the presenter’s question if he calls out to other languages after watching all the pictures.
‘They call us for other films after seeing all our films. I had met Lokesh Kanaka Raj in Chennai. I had seen all my movies till then. It was exactly after Puli had talked about it that the film was called. Not just calling. Suriya was there when he went to an award function in Thiruvananthapuram. As for me, I have a terrible desire to meet and talk to Pulli. I don’t know what to do after seeing Pulli. The spot is standing there like this. Finally, I asked the people near Pulli if I could talk to them, and they said to talk.
So I went up to Pulli and introduced myself. At that time, Angamaly Diaries and Sambarada were released only in Ardharatri and others. When I said Angamali Diaries, Pulli was talking about it by saying thambi antha climax. They are asking me how I did it, and when I look at it, Surya is holding my hand, and I am thinking, what is this heaven? I was so happy. From that I understand that they are all updated. When they say that they are watching even our movie, how many movies are they watching? They call us all because they see it that way. How many people acting in our language go there and make films. It’s a very happy thing,’ said Pepe.
Meanwhile, Pepe’s Onam release RDX is progressing in theaters as a mass movie. The film, which did not give much hype, is getting a good response from the audience. The audience says that the film is a true mass film.
Adarsh Sukumaran and Shabazz Rasheed have written the screenplay for RDX. The action scenes of this film are handled by Anb Arivam, who has composed the scenes for films like KGF, Vikram and Beast. The film also stars Babu Antony, Lal, Aima Rosmi Sebastian, Mahima Nambiar, Mala Parvathy and Baiju.
