Antonio Tocornal presents his new book: ‘Cadillac Ranch’

Every week in “El Anaquel de los libros” and throughout the season together with the writers José Luis Labad and Gonzalo Arjona we will talk about books, writers, creativity and even music and its relationship with books. On this occasion, the two writers interview Antonio Tocornal, a writer from San Fernando, who presents his new book: Cadillac Ranch. The author from Cádiz proposes a book in which he brings together fifteen stories, most of them short stories, that have no common thread between them but that come together in the unreal.

“I was born in San Fernando, Cádiz, but I settled in Mallorca after having studied Fine Arts in Seville and having lived in Paris for many years,” says Antonio’s website. For his works he has received awards such as the XXII “Vargas Llosa” Novel Prize 2017, the XIX “Diputación de Córdoba” Short Novel Prize 2018, the XLI “Felipe Trigo” Novel Prize 2021 or the València Narrative Prize “Alfons el Magnànim” 2020 in addition to being a finalist in the Andalusia Critics Award 2022.
