Let’s go back to talking about the “Barbara D’Urso affair” at Mediaset, due to the intervention of one of the most powerful characters on Mediaset TV, none other than Antonio Ricci, who spoke about the “purged” presenter on the occasion of the presentation to the press of the new edition of The news spreads, which has been on the air for 35 years. As you will remember, the presenter received several Golden Tapirs from Ricci’s satirical show, but the relationships between the two have always been excellent, as demonstrated by what Ricci said about it.

During the press conference, Antonio Ricci revealed that he had offered a Barbara D’Urso to participate in the first episode of the new edition of Strip the News, but which the presenter could not accept. These are the words of the author: “I had the opportunity to speak to Barbara to ask her to participate in the first episode by entering with Gabibbo to say I am here, with my heart. She replied that she cannot due to legal issues, but she said that she will empty the bag from January. Let’s wait.” These words suggest a legal dispute between D’Urso and the company which suddenly eliminated her after a long militancy in Mediaset programmes, because her type of management was disliked by Pier Silvio Berlusconi, who decided to do some spare parts within the company. So nothing to do, until things are clarified, for a possible appearance of Barbara D’Urso on a network program, not even as a guest.
During the press conference, Ricci also commented in his undiplomatic way (which has earned him many enemies), the transfer of Fabio Fazio e What’s the weather like: “The TV market has opened up. Fazio was right to leave Rai. His role as the victim is worthy of an Oscar. He made it clear that they had kicked him out when he already had another contract. He’s boring, plus with the story who is mistreated…”. The next edition of Strip the Newsfor those still watching it, will initially be hosted by Vanessa Incontrada e Alessandro Siani and Ricci said that he will use, we don’t know how, the discussed artificial intelligence in the Gabibbo theme song, with the showgirls and during the services. In addition to the introduction of a new programme, called “Fascia e orso”, another novelty is that this time the end of the program is brought forward to 9.25pm, to give space to the early evenings of Channel 5.
