Through Instagram, comedian António Raminhos shared an emotional testimony about his obsession with death.
It is one of the subjects that is dominating the present time: during the game Denmark vs. Finland, on the occasion of Euro 2020, the Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen fell inanimate on the pitch, which generated a wave of consternation. However, according to the site MaisFutebol, UEFA confirmed that the footballer’s health status is “stabilized”.
On social networks, many famous people showed that they were not indifferent to this episode. It was the case of António Raminhos. “I’ve already said it here, my obsessions are very much related to death. Dying, disappearing, not knowing what’s coming. Seeing that player, a top athlete, in one second he’s running and the other he’s running. to fight for life, fear set in, the desire to hide, to stop doing sport, to stop… because ‘I don’t know, the same could happen to you’, my head thought. to survive, to wait for the end. And our passage is not to survive but to live”, began by reflecting the humorist, 41 years old.
António Raminhos ended up recalling some unexpected deaths of public figures that surprised the country: “Looking at this case, Neno, Maria João [Abreu] or from [Alfredo] Quintana or others, rather than thinking that ‘we are nothing’… I look and see that, in reality, we are everything. We are a spark of this Universe, we are flesh, bone, light, darkness… and to be everything is to be thankful for each moment, to try to smile, heal our wounds, try to do more for us, love more, fight more and, with each fall, remember once again…this is about living.”
