Antonio Cassano attacks Roma coach José Mourinho.
The former Roma player is not satisfied with the team’s performance.
– Their effort made me want to throw up, he says in the podcast ”BoboTV”.
Last week, Roma crashed out of the Italian Cup after a surprise 2-1 defeat at home to Serie A bottom-placed Cremonese.
One who has reacted to the defeat is the former Roma player Antonio Cassano, 40, – who goes hard for coach José Mourinho.
– Mourinho has never been a good coach, he only knew how to talk to the media and was a good communicator, he says in Christian Vieri’s podcast “BoboTV”.
“Made me want to puke”
Mourinho won the Conference League with Roma last season and the team is now third in Serie A where they are chasing a Champions League spot ahead of next season. But Cassano is not satisfied with the Portuguese, and criticizes, among other things, his selections and signings.
– It’s disaster after disaster in Roma, he made them spend a lot of money on Nemanja Matic and Rui Patricio, they were his decisions.
– The other day, their effort made me want to throw up. He doesn’t know how to field a team. Even if you play with your “B team”, you must beat Cremonese, notes Cassano.
Antonio Cassano played in Roma between 2001 and 2006, scoring 39 goals in 118 games. He has also represented clubs such as Real Madrid, Milan, Inter and Sampdoria.
