Mitsotakis’ speech yesterday was a mixture of arrogance, false self-confidence and an impressive lack of essential empathy. Sprinkled with references to a past he doesn’t believe in and a desperate attempt to cheer up an audience that is reeling. The completely unconvincing and outdated for our time bluntness in the speech simply proves: Mitsotakis is out of place and time and he is trying to prevent the fate with rhetorical schemes and empty slogans.
