/ world today news/ “It was important to create a commission to the National Assembly for Bulgarians abroad, which was achieved on the initiative of the BSP”, said the deputy in the Verkhovna Rada and chairman of the Association of Bulgarians in Ukraine Anton Kisse at a meeting with the chairman of the National Assembly on BSP Mikhail Mikov.
During the meeting, the problems of the Bulgarians in Ukraine were condemned, as well as the possibility of Bulgaria helping to restore the water connection between Reni and Silistra, which in the current situation provides a good practical opportunity for a connection with our country. Among the topics discussed was the need to strengthen the Bulgarian consulate, especially in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions, where many Bulgarians live – both in terms of staff and in relation to people.
Kisse expressed his desire to meet the members of the parliamentary committee during his next visit to the country, in order to share with them the needs of the Bulgarians in Ukraine.
