Antoine Arnault directs Christian Dior SE

Berluti CEO and Chairman of the Board of Loro Piana Antoine Arnault has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of the Christian Dior SE holding. Antoine Arnault is the eldest son of Bernard Arnault, president of the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) group of companies; Christian Dior owns 41% of the group’s share capital.

“This appointment was made in the context of the transformation of Agache SE (the holding company which owns shares of Christian Dior.—“huh”) into a public company, which took place on December 6 and will allow for long-term family control of Christian Dior SE and LVMH Moet Hennessy,” the luxury brand said in a press release, quoted by United Fashion.

The entrepreneur will replace 71-year-old Sidney Toledano, who also holds the position of CEO of LMVH Fashion Group, at the helm of Christian Dior.

45-year-old Antoine Arnault began his career in the advertising department of Louis Vuitton, later the head of Berluti – under his leadership, the shoe brand began to create collections of men’s clothing. Arnault is on the board of directors of LVMH.

Fashion house Prada also confirmed this week that Andrea Guerra, the former head of Luxottica, will be its new chief executive officer.
