The Delegate of the Programs for the Development of Well-being in Guanajuato, Mauricio Hernández Núñez, highlighted the importance of applying vaccines for this risk sector as one of the commitments that were given to vaccinate 100 percent of the population with at least one dose.

“We will begin vaccinating adolescents between the ages of 15 and 17 this week, throughout the state. The objective is to comply with the commitment of the Government of Mexico to also vaccinate this population group, here we are talking about all young people between 15 and 17 years old and not exclusively those who have some comorbidity but all young people, ”added the delegate. .

Simultaneously, the state immunization of this population group, in 63 vaccination points, including those with the highest population concentration and in the industrial corridor.

Mauricio Hernández stressed that the doses will be sufficient to apply to the total population of this sector that studies at the upper secondary level and that is about to be incorporated 100 percent in the educational establishments in person.

In addition, those people missing their second dose by this laboratory will have the opportunity to approach the vaccination centers and complete their immunity scheme against covid-19.

The delegate said that the vaccine sent by the federation will arrive very in time to immunize young people in the season when respiratory diseases increase due to exposure to low temperatures.
