Joan Mir, world champion MotoGP 2020, unable to end the season with an ideal. After consistently earned points, at MotoGP Portugal the motorbike actually crashed.
There were no additional points for the Suzuki Ecstar rider in the race at Portimao, Sunday (22/11/2020) evening WIB. Joan Mir didn’t even finish the race.
At the start of the race MotoGP Portugal 2020, Joan Mir almost fell in Turn 3 after bumping into Johann Zarco. At the same corner on the opening lap, he also had a touch with Francesco Bagnaia. The two incidents apparently had negative results.
As a result of the incident, Joan Mir was forced to turn right into the garage when the race entered the 16th lap. The motorbike reportedly stalled due to electronic problems so it was unable to continue.
“I don’t know whether the impact of the incident with Zarco or with Pecco, somehow it seems to have an impact on the electronics of the bike and then I no longer have traction,” he said. Joan Mir as reported by Autosport.
For the third time on MotoGP 2020Joan Mir did not manage to score any points and ended a series of 10 races that always finished for him – including the seven podiums that included one win.
