Dengue fever fogging coordinator, revealed Dewa Juli, this fogging activity aims to control adult mosquitoes or be able to kill adult mosquitoes (vectors) in the sufferer’s environment.
“This activity is an important step in anticipating the incidence of dengue fever. We are also working with jumantik and the district head/chief Dusun who is in charge of the area to participate in providing direct education to the residents,” said Dewa Juli.
From this activity, the results of an epidemiological investigation tarnished 20 houses with a radius of 100 meters from the home of the suspect or DHF patient.

Faced with the level of dengue fever cases, the implementation team of the City Health Bureau immediately took measures to prevent the growth of mosquitoes. Before fogging, the UPTD team at North Denpasar Health Center II conducted an Epidemiological Survey (PE) at the patient’s home and within a 100m radius of the patient’s home, and whether they met the requirements they would be notified to the City Health Office to schedule the fogging.
