In a quiz published on its website, the Norwegian state broadcaster NRK integrated an anti-Semitic blood guilt issue at Easter and Passover. The eighth question in the quiz was: “A very special bread”. It showed a picture of a boy with pieces of matzo in his hands. The question to the readers was: “What was special about the bread that Jesus and the disciples ate during the Passover meal?” You could choose from three answers. The third option was: There was blood in the bread. This alludes to the blood guilt accusation that Jews have used the blood of children to make the matzot. On Twitter, participants in the quiz described it as “absolutely tasteless” to include the supposed blood guilt in the question. The representative of a large European pro-Israel membership organization said the NRK had decided to test how many people would believe in the anti-Semitic conspiracy theories in their Easter quiz.
