For a long time, the district of La Beaucaire has been the subject of close surveillance by the police. Wednesday noon, she paid since the police officers of the central police station arrested 11 people, suspected of belonging to a narcotics resale network which took place in two towers of buildings.
It was around 1 p.m. on Wednesday that around forty Toulon officials burst into two buildings in La Beaucaire. They were assisted by a company of CRS (40 other men) in order to apprehend all the suspects as quickly as possible. Upstream, the investigators of the Departmental Security operated a permanent surveillance, night and day, of this alleged deal point which allowed the actors to amass a lot of money.
On the spot, moreover, 47,000 euros of cash were recovered as well as 700 grams of hashish and a few grams of cocaine intended for resale. According to the first elements, the market took place on the floors, sheltered from outside eyes. Buyers and sellers met in the common areas and exchanged products and money.
A kilo of weed and packets of counterfeit cigarettes
In total, eight adults and three minors were therefore arrested and placed in police custody at the central police station. They should be referred tomorrow to the Toulon prosecutor’s office for “purchase, sale or transfer of narcotics”. Many of them deny the facts outright.

This type of operation promises to be renewed soon in the districts of Toulon where deal points have been identified.
