Anti-monarchy slogans were also raised in Britain

(Web Desk) In Great Britain, a demonstration was held outside Westminster Abbey against Prince Charles.

According to details, anti-monarchy protesters chanted “Not My King” outside Westminster Abbey as King Charles and senior members of the royal family attended a Commonwealth Day event organized by anti-monarchy campaign group Republic. Activists gathered outside Westminster Abbey and began chanting as King Charles arrived at the ceremony.

It was the first time King Charles had attended a memorial service as head of state, with the 74-year-old monarch delivering a message from the abbey’s grand pulpit, but in his latest protest against the royal family, the ‘Not My King’ writer Play Protesters armed with cards gathered outside the building and shouted slogans as Charles arrived. The group had held rallies before and chanted that Charles was spending our money instead of working for Corona.

The leader of the anti-monarchy campaign is 48-year-old Graham Smith, possibly Britain’s best-known democrat who has been campaigning against the monarchy for 20 years, having founded the Republic Group in 1983 but formally disbanded in 2006. After being established as a limited company, they have grown and gained recognition in recent years.
