[ロンドン 22日 ロイター] – Mikhail Razbodzayev, governor of Sevastopol, the Crimean peninsula that Russia annexed in 2014, said on Monday that the anti-aircraft defense system was activated and prevented two attacks by unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). Some of these attacks were directed at thermal power plants.
Sevastopol is the headquarters of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. In late October, Russia suspended its participation in a deal on Ukrainian grain exports across the Black Sea after Ukrainians used drones to attack ports.
“Drone attacks, but our air defenses are working and all our forces are on alert,” the Russian governor said on social media. He said there were no civilian casualties and called on citizens to remain calm.
