Anthony Sinisuka Ginting be Indonesia’s only hope left in Singapore Open 2023. Meanwhile, Leo Rolly Carnando/Daniel Martin lost in the quarterfinals.

Ginting advances to the semifinals of the Singapore Open 2023 after winning over Li Shi Feng in the quarterfinals. In the match at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, Friday (9/6) evening WIB, Ginting won via rubber game with a score of 21-13, 16-21, 21-12.

Kunlavut Vitidsarn awaits Ginting, who is the second seed, in the semifinals. Vitidsarn qualified after winning over Christo Popov in the quarterfinals.


Judging from the head to head record, Ginting is 2-3 behind Vitidsarn. At the last meeting at the 2023 India Open, Ginting lost 25-27, 15-21 to the Indian badminton player.

Leo/Daniel lost after fighting to a rubber game. Having won the first game, Leo/Daniel finally lost to the world champion with a score of 21-18, 16-21, 20-22.
