Died Anthony Miles, a successful businessman with brands left in various businesses, was 82 years old. Born on September 30, 1937, died in Funchal on Christmas Day 2019.
Born in Madeira, more precisely in the area where he always lived, in Rua do Til, the businessman of British origin was a man respected by the majority of Madeiran society.
Besides being a businessman, a family man, he never ceased to have public participation, in which stands the presidency of the Commercial and Industrial Association of Funchal.
In addition to being in the genesis of the launch of the Coral beer and the Brisa Passion fruit brand, through the ECM that resulted from the merger between the Miles family factory and the Leão family, but also in Madeira wines, being one of the six exporting houses, founded in 1814. Joined the family business in 1969, completed this year half a century.
