Manchester

Of the six games on Premier League, Anthony Martial still scored zero. In fact, he hasn’t even provided assists.

Even though last season, the 24-year-old player was quite good when he was placed as a wing striker. From 32 matches, he recorded 17 goals and seven assists.

The former assistant coach of Sir Alex Ferguson’s era, Rene Meulensteen advised manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not to put Anthony Martial as a center forward.

“The task of the center-forward is to complete opportunities. I don’t think Anthony Martial is like that,” Rene said as quoted from Mirror.

“Martial’s best position is on the left wing. He can comb from the wing then stab into the middle,” he continued.

Since coming to Manchester United in 2015, Martial was plotted as a wing striker. Nested 73 goals in 227 appearances in all competitions. The number of assists is also okay, as many as 43 assists.
