The hit film – and its sequel Knives out — begins with a series of questionable invitations to a murder mystery on tech billionaire Miles Bron’s private island. His “inner circle” was invited to play with him.
Unusually enough, his rival Andi (with whom he started his company, but then shrewdly elaborated) also received an invitation. Why?
Before his death
Andi is already dead before the game even starts. There are a number of possible theories as to why he got an invite after all. That’s how Miles would have shipped the box before he died.
Smart move
It would have been a smart move on Miles’ part, since he could have covered his tracks that way. Because who invites someone who knows they wouldn’t come anyway? A real shock when Andi’s twin sister Helen suddenly arrives…
