It was selected to be part of NutritionDay Worldwide, a leading global scientific audit endorsed by ESPEN, the Medical University of Vienna and the Austrian Society of Clinical Nutrition, both globally recognized entities.

The ‘Dr Ramón Carrillo’ Central Hospital will participate for the first time in a scientific research study: ‘World Health and Nutrition Audit’. It will be part of NutritionDay Worldwide, a leading global scientific audit endorsed by ESPEN, the Medical University of Vienna and the Austrian Society of Clinical Nutrition, which are recognized entities worldwide.

This initiative arose through the head of the Nutrition and Food department of the HCRC, led by Maricel López García. They must assess and monitor hospital nutritional care, in order to continuously adjust processes and operations. allowing worldwide comparison, optimizing the quality of services offered to patients.

Under the direction of Maricel López García, head of the HCRC Nutrition and Food Department, the hospital team is prepared and motivated to take on this challenge. Participation in This international study will allow the hospital to compare its practices with global standardsthus contributing to excellence in the nutritional care they provide.
