This is a new proposal from the team at Lectores ULP which, through eight podcasts, offers suggestions for works, authors and reading tips from different literatures (English, Argentine, universal, Greek). The premiere will be on September 18 on the Lectores ULP YouTube channel.
The podcast series features four teachers who will talk about literature from different latitudes, with bookstores in San Luis as the setting.
The audiovisual project ‘Surrounded by Books’, from the Readers sub-area of the Extension and Liaison Secretariat of the University of La Punta (ULP), suggests that there are a large number of reading options and it is not always easy to choose what to read. For this reason, they called on experienced readers to recommend works and authors of the literature they have dedicated themselves to.
Originally conceived by Priscila Cano, this series of eight chapters, each lasting between 6 and 7 minutes, features the participation of professors Andrea Puchmüller in English literature, Sergio López in Argentine literature, Paula Ferraro in Greek literature and Zaida Daruich in universal literature.
The recordings were made in the bookstores ‘Los libros del fenicio’ and Yenny. “The idea was to do a project outside the ULP, in other spaces and we thought of bookstores, something that seemed like a nice environment,” said Alberto Tricarico, from the Lectores team.
These broadcasts will take place every Wednesday from 10:00 on the ULP Readers YouTube channel.
