The Minister of Economy of the Nation, Sergio Massa, and the executive director of ANSES, Fernanda Raverta, announced this Wednesday an increase in the amount offered by the ANSES Credits from 400 to 1,000 to 600,000 pesos for retirees and pensioners and up to 1 million pesos for workers in a dependency relationship, starting next Monday, November 6.
Workers in a dependency relationship with salaries of up to 1,980,000 pesos (Income Tax floor that applies from today) will be able to request a loan of up to 1 million pesos, with an Annual Nominal Rate (TNA) of 50 percent, in 24, 36 or 48 installments, the amount of which will be deposited in the credit card associated with the applicant’s salary account. The first installment will be deducted 3 months after receiving the loan.
This implies an increase of 150 percent of the current maximum amount (400 thousand pesos) and it is estimated that it could reach more than 5.4 million people who would meet the requirements.
The measure aims to encourage consumption. Likewise, it seeks to be a tool to alleviate the debt situation that many working families are going through, who have committed to paying their credit cards with refinancing rates that are much more expensive than the credit they can access through ANSES.
To date, the pension agency has already granted 247,798 credits, 38 percent to women and 62 to men.
It should be remembered that the request must be made exclusively through the organization’s website, www.anses.gob.aror the my ANSES application, every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
ANSES credits for retirees and pensioners
Retirees and pensioners of the Argentine Integrated Pension System (SIPA) will be able to access loans of up to 600 thousand pesos and holders of Non-Contributory Pensions (PNC) and PUAM, up to 250 thousand pesos, with a TNA of 29 percent, which means a third of what is offered on the market, and choose to repay it in up to 24, 36 or 48 installments.
All retirees and pensioners are able to apply for them, that is, 7.7 million people, promoting consumption in the Argentine economy.
At the moment, ANSES delivered 1,344,651 credits, 64 percent to women and 36 to men.
Please remember that to obtain the loan you must make an appointment at www.anses.gob.ar and then process it in person at the agency’s offices. If the conditions are met, the money will be deposited in the account in which the person collects their pension benefit.
