NEW YORK — The New York City area continues its streak of bad luck this weekend, as another round of rain appears to dampen the chances of enjoying clear fall plans.
A streak of bad weather has already inundated the region over the first few weekends of the season, and next weekend looks to be no different.
So what about the rest of the week?
Much of the work week is forecast to be fairly quiet. Fall temperatures have really settled into the area and our mornings should start off chilly before a cool afternoon.
Most of us will stay dry overnight into Tuesday morning, but a passing shower or two is possible before most of us wake up. Definitely don’t expect to see much rain until Friday.
Now, as we get to Saturday, things get worse.
Heavy rain is estimated to bring up to a few inches of rain to nearly everyone in the tri-state area early next week. Rain will begin on Saturday and continue through Monday, tapering off slightly each day.
Once things dry, they surely cool down.
Expect temperatures next week to stay stuck in the 50s for a few days.
