Another Uzbek airline is coming to Israel

the airline Air Base (Centrum Air) based in Uzbekistan also starts flying to Israel at the end of the month. The price of the flight on the route Tel Aviv-Tashkent starts from $488 including trolley, seats and food. At this point it is a bi-weekly line. Flight C6371 departs from Tashkent (TAS) on Tuesdays and Saturdays at 20:10 and lands (TLV) at 22:40. Flight C6372 departs from Tel Aviv on Sundays and Wednesdays at 00:05 and lands in Tashkent at 7:40 pm.

The company operates an Airbus A321neo aircraft with 221 seats on the route to Tel Aviv or as hand luggage. Optimal Price also offers a bag of up to 23 kg to be placed in the belly of the plane, and the Comfort ticket allows a bag of up to 32 kg.

The airline currently operating between Israel and Uzbekistan is Uzbekistan Air, which operates a route to Samarkand despite the security situation. Since the beginning of the year, about 40,000 Israelis have flown to Uzbekistan, a decrease of only 4% compared to the corresponding period last year. The destination’s top month was recorded in September when 8,650 passengers flew to the destination, an increase of 35% compared to the number of passengers in September last year. This means that Zentrum enters a market that seems safe.

Center Air was established in early 2023 as part of a government initiative aimed at improving the quality of air connections for the residents of Uzbekistan. Its aircraft fleet includes 5 new Airbus aircraft, which fly to 14 destinations throughout Asia and the East. Onward destinations where the company operates regular flights from Tashkent include: Istanbul (Turkey), Dubai, Saint Petersburg (Russia), Zhuangzhou (China), Sharm el-Sheikh, Batumi and Tbilisi (Georgia). Zentrum is represented in Israel by APG Israel from the Maman group.

Ofer Reinhardt, CEO of APG Isreal from the Maman Group, says: “We are pleased with the choice of Center Air. I have no doubt that the GSA agreement is a very important step in strengthening the company’s connection to the Israeli market and will allow us to offer the best slots on the line between Tel Aviv and Tashkent to tourism organizers and travel agents.
