In accordance with the instructions of the head of the country Mr. Ilham Aliyev, works are being continued in Baku city in the direction of increasing green belts, restoring the ecological balance and protecting the environment. According to the information provided by the organization to SIA, in connection with global climate changes and the threat of water scarcity, planting of drought-resistant plants, suitable for the local climate, and trees and bushes blooming in different colors is underway in Baku.
For this purpose, on October 21, a tree-planting action was held in “Ganjlik”, “Nizami Ganjavi” parks and other areas of the capital under the joint organization of Baku City Executive Authority and “Regional Development” Public Union (RIIB).
Within the framework of the action, 500 trees and shrubs selected according to the climatic conditions were planted by the employees of the executive institutions and the volunteers of the Public Union in a new, different way.
During the season, it is planned to continue actions related to the greening of Baku city, maintenance of greenery and landscaping.
