Another technology firm moves from California to North Texas

A global technology company decided to move its United States headquarters to Dallas-Fort Worth.

Simplilearn, dedicated to digital teaching, relocated its US headquarters from San Francisco to Plano, near the Dallas North Tollway and 121.

The move It comes several quarters after Krishna Kumar, the company’s founder and CEO, settled in Texas, Simplilearn said in a statement.

Their arrival adds another boost to the Dallas area, which in recent years has attracted headquarters of regional and global companies in their search for talent, growth and a central location.

Those companies have come from California and the rest of the country.

Bengaluru, India-based Simplilearn, now Plano, is part of Blackstone, after the private equity firm announced a deal in 2021 to acquire a majority stake, the statement says.

Simplilearn received a $250 million investment from Blackstone and has previously been backed by other investors, the company says in another document.

Its new offices are located at 5851 Legacy Circle, sixth floor.

With around 1,200 employees, Simplilearn trains people and businesses globally through more than 1,500 live online classes to more than 8 million users.

In his sessions he assists university students, beginning professionals and managers.

Among the disciplines taught are artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity and software development, among others.
