A shipment of 776,880 doses of Pfizer vaccines arrived in the country on Thursday morning to join the strategic plan for vaccination against the coronavirus being carried out by the national government throughout the country, it was officially reported.
The new doses, which arrived minutes before 10 at the Ezeiza airport, are added to another shipment of 848,250 Pfizers that arrived yesterday: it is a total of 1,625,130 doses that will be added to the Strategic Vaccination Plan against the coronavirus, that already exceeded half the population with a complete immunization scheme.
Meanwhile, between now and tomorrow, 2,006,300 doses of Sinopharm will reach all jurisdictions with the aim of starting the vaccination scheme for children between 3 and 11 years old.
Likewise, between today and Friday, 1,004,500 doses of component 2 of the Sputnik V vaccine will also reach the entire country, with the aim of continuing to complete the population’s immunization schedules.
According to data from the Public Vaccination Monitor, updated this morning, a total of 57,921,904 doses were distributed throughout the country, of which 53,447,252 were applied.
Of that total, 30,026,908 Argentines started their vaccination scheme and 23,420,344 already have the complete scheme.
