The successful Czech athlete Tomáš Verner secretly got married this spring. In addition, they are expecting a baby with their partner!
Figure skater Verner managed to get married at the beginning of March, he and his Thai partner Tammy are now expecting their first offspring. He is due to be born in September.
“We didn’t want to make any secrets. After about the second ultrasound, we knew it was going to be a boy,” he said Lightning athlete.
“Since we have a trilingual marriage, we need to hit a name that is well pronounced in Czech, English and, if possible, in Thai,” he added.
He did not reveal the name itself, but said that the wedding had already taken place on March 14, ie at the last minute before the announcement of security measures due to coronavirus.
But the wedding was not big. It took place in the presence of parents from both sides and two witnesses.
