Russia has again seen an unprecedented number of Covid-19 victims. In our eastern neighbor, 852 people who died of Covid-19 died during the day, according to government data.
This is the highest figure since the beginning of the pandemic. The previous tragic record was registered on September 24, when the number of deaths during the day reached 828.

Russia has also seen a sharp increase in infections with the delta subtype, but vaccination against Covid-19 is slow. In Russia, vaccinations are carried out with nationally developed vaccines, but only 28% of the population is fully vaccinated.
