According to her lawyer, the woman received sexually explicit messages and photos from Rietbergen. According to lawyer Sébas Diekstra, there is also other evidence for her story.
She knows Rietbergen through the music world and hopes that other victims will now also dare to go to the police.

Nineteen victims
Nineteen women told their story about band leader Rietbergen to maker Tim Hofman, fifteen about a director and there are two reports against coach Ali B, one of which is allegedly by a former candidate of the RTL program.
One of those charges is for rape, the prosecutor said in the episode. Also about former coach Marco Borsato were reports of immoral groping.

Last weekend, when the story came out, Rietbergen resigned from his job as bandleader. Linda de Mol’s now ex-partner acknowledged that he had had relationships of a ‘sexual nature’ with women who were involved in the program. Ex-candidate Nienke Wijnhoven (23) will report this week against 50-year-old Rietbergen.
RTL decided to remove the TV program from TV immediately and announced an independent investigation with the producer.
