In the eighth program of the show “Voice in the Mask”, under the noble and graceful, Art Nouveau-inspired mask of Riga, hid the talented actress of Liepaja, Erika Eglija-Grāvele, who is more widely known to TV viewers as the actor of Simon in her series “She Lies Better”. Riga closed its participation in the show, feeling and touchingly performing the most famous composition of the singer Haralds Sīmanis “Lake”, about which the director of the show Mārtiņš Spuris judged that the song was able to “pull” the hearts.
“She is independent, self-sufficient, nothing can shake her, because she is used to relying only on herself. She does not give in to various tricks! And Harald Simon’s uniqueness resonates with the personality of Riga!”, Detective Jānis Šipkēvics said after the emotional performance of Riga.
At the end of the show, detectives Jānis Šipkēvics and Samanta Tīna were convinced that Erika Eglija-Grāvele was hiding under the mask, while Baiba Sipeniece expressed the probability that Erika’s colleague actress Ilze Ķuzule – Skrastiņa could also be under the mask, but detective Krivenchy jokingly mentioned that actress Erika ‘s husband Gints Gravelis.
