Juvenile Roma stabbed a former police officer in the stomach on Alexander Malinov Boulevard in the Mladost 3 district, GlasNews reports, citing police sources.
The incident happened next to a dog run earlier this evening.
The victim was walking his dog. He was attacked by three people while he was standing on a bench – without his pet.
The man was taken to “Pirogov”.
According to the spokeswoman of the Emergency Assistance Center in Sofia, Katya Sungarska, the victim is from danger to life.
“The signal to the Ambulance was received at 18:57. A team was immediately directed to the scene. The victim has cuts in the stomach area, with profuse blood loss. He was taken to an anti-shock room in “Pirogov”, with a life-threatening condition, he explained. Sungarian.
At the moment, there is no information on how exactly the accident happened. The investigation continues.
The three attackers are still being sought by the law enforcement agencies.
