Another new SUV has arrived on the Czech market. Its biggest advantage is the relatively short delivery times

It drives up to 280 km / h

According to the manufacturer and importer, the Maserati Grecale is a compact SUV, which certainly does not correspond to a length of approximately 4.85 m (it varies depending on the equipment). Tou Grecale surpasses all SUVs that we describe in our catalog as large (including, for example, the Porsche Macan) and approaches those with the nickname “largest” – for example BMW X5 or Lexusu RX. The closest is the length of the body Volkswagen Touareg. This is a compact car, especially when compared to a larger SUV from Maserati – the Levante model, whose length exceeds five meters.

But the basic price of the new Maserati Grecale is also big, or rather high. “It starts at 62,600 euros without tax,” reveals Jan Svoboda, the marketing chief of the brand’s importer for the Czech Republic. If we add VAT and convert the price into crowns, we get to approximately 1.84 million crowns. Grecale thus exceeds all major SUVs and the basic price – including the Porsche Macan.

On the other hand, it is important to note that the basic version of the Maserati Grecale means a two-liter mild-hybrid four-cylinder engine with up to 300 hp, all-wheel drive, acceleration from 100 km / h in 5.6 s and a maximum speed of 240 km / h . Compared to similarly powerful versions of competitors, the Grecale price is much more friendly.

The most powerful version of the Trofeo, powered by a three-liter six-cylinder petrol engine, has an output of up to 530 horsepower, can handle 0 to 100 km / h in 3.8 seconds and burns up to 280 km / h. It is approximately 2.81 million crowns.

The biggest attraction for those interested in the new Maserati Grecale in today’s conditions is the incredibly short waiting period. Anyone who orders a car today can have it in three to four months. “The first cars are already on the way and will arrive in June and July, the rest in the autumn,” Svoboda explains.
