New York Knicks fans, please be patient. Okay, by now you’ve probably learned to be it anyway. All that to say that this offseason will probably not be flamboyant on the side of the big apple.
But somewhere, so much the better. The leaders seem to have understood that the priority is reconstruction. And especially that this process can take time. All the basics must be laid before you want to dream big. And for that, we must take care to advance the players, to put them in the best conditions.
The Knicks would like to surround their young players with tough veterans. Serious. Applied. They have already targeted several free agents. And to this list is now added Justin Holiday.
Knicks have two FA targets, fans can cry already
According to Ian Begley, the Indiana Pacers winger is therefore coveted by the New York franchise. He knows the organization well, having already been there between 2016 and 2017. And he also played for Tom Thibodeau – the new coach – to the Chicago Bulls.
Holiday, 31, is coming off a great season in Indianapolis. He was running at more than 8 points and 40% success behind the arc out of the bench. He is a good player who can help on the pitch but also in the locker room. A good choice for the Knicks.
