– According to reports, the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare announced that a new corona 19 mutant virus was confirmed in four people who lived in Amazonas, Brazil and entered Haneda Airport in Japan on the 2nd.
The four were tested positive for Corona 19 at the airport quarantine, and a detailed examination of the virus gene detected in them confirmed that it was a new mutation.
Four are one male in their 40s, one female in their 30s, and two men and women in their teens. A man in his 40s was asymptomatic right after arrival, but after that, his breathing worsened and he was hospitalized, and the woman is known to have had symptoms such as headaches. Males in their teens had fever symptoms and women in their teens were asymptomatic.
This mutant species has common parts with mutant viruses from Britain and South Africa, but it is a different type, the Ministry of Health and Welfare reported. The infectious power of this mutant virus, the possibility of aggravating it, and the effectiveness of the vaccine are not yet known, and the National Infectious Disease Research Institute of Japan is investigating it.
