Another member of the film crew of Western Rust with Alec Baldwin was admitted to hospital, SkyNews reported.
Luminaire and editor Jason Miller was bitten by a venomous spider during the dismantling of the film, which is being shot in New Mexico.
A few days later, the man developed necrosis of the hands and sepsis. The victim was taken to hospital, where he underwent several operations. Doctors are trying to stop the spread of the infection and prevent amputation of the arm, added BTA.
In October, during a rehearsal for a scene from the film, actor Alec Baldwin accidentally shot camerawoman Halina Hutchins, causing her death, and wounded director Joel Souza after it turned out that the props he used were loaded with ammunition instead of blank cartridges.
