It seems that after a weaker period, the Epic digital store has again ranked the highest level of performance, as it is distributing real gems in a short sequence. Following the strategies of Total War: Warhammer and XCOM 2, he now comes up with the excellent horror Amnesia: Rebirth. This is the third part of the established series, but if you haven’t played the previous parts, you don’t have to worry – the plot doesn’t follow them and is completely independent.

The main heroine is Tassie, who crashes in the desert with a plane, but soon realizes that she is in far worse danger than dying of thirst. At its core, this is a classic creepy adventure, where you have no protection against ghosts – most of the time only guessed in the shadows – than fast legs and wit. Unlike many other members of the genre, Rebirth differs in that the protagonist is pregnant and the growing new life in her womb gives the whole story an even more urgent undertone.
In our period review I gave Amnesia a rating of 90% and also ranked her in the top three the best games of 2020. Since then, the authors have also added a special game mode for cowards, which will save them a lot of exploration of her world (see our article).
