Another earthquake was felt by the Salvadoran population early this Sunday afternoon. According to the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources (MARN), the earthquake was 4.6 in front of the Libertad Coast.
According to MARN, the earthquake occurred at 1:48 p.m. on Sunday, 52.0 km south of Playa Mizata with a depth of 51 km. This happened after another earthquake was felt by the population on Saturday night and caused an alert.
MARN reported that last night’s earthquake had a magnitude of 5.5 at 8:25 PM off the coast of La Libertad, 45.0 km south of Playa El Sunzal with a depth of 49 km.
